Chef Art Smith just announced Food Network’s Chef Ted Allen will co-host his #101 Gay Weddings event on Saturday, February 21, 2015. For the past two years during The South Beach Wine & Food Festival The James Royal Palm has been home to Chef Art Smith’s and friends famous Big Gay Ice Cream Social. Now with the official beginning of gay marriage in the State of Florida, Chef Art is hosting a celebratory party– 101 Gay Weddings.
Couples are encouraged to tweet to @ChefArtSmith will receive a free wedding on February 21st during the South Beach Wine & Food Festival at The James Royal Palm. The big celebrations and all 101 weddings will be performed together in the beautiful James Breezeway. A celebrity minister will be there to officiate at the wedding ceremony.
Famed Celebrity Chef Duff Goldman, star of Food Network’s reality show Ace of Cakes and one of the first to stand up against hate in food, will be creating a one-of-a-kind wedding cake to mark the special occasion.
