Take up the IDAHO (International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia) Challenge

Take up the IDAHO (International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia) Challenge  (MAY 17th)is a community project with the aim to raise public awareness in nations where anti-gay discrimination remains a reality.  To achieve this, the site Gays.com is producing a user-generated video where members of the LGBT community can let their voice be heard.  The idea is that
by increasing our visibility, we stand a chance at breaking down the cycle of hate.

Here is the youtube link that explains the initiative.

With tragedies like Carl Walker-Hoover still making headlines, it is hoped that members of the LGBT community will speak out by submitting their video to Gays.com.

While 67 countries have signed the new United Nations statement to decriminalise homosexuality worldwide, anti-gay discrimination remains a reality in many parts of the world. This year, with your help, we want to create a video that sends out the message that gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered people are just like everyone else. We come from all over the world and we come in all shapes and sizes and colours. And we want to send this message to the people of the world in every language that's out there!
