Donald Trump aired the opening show of his new season of CELEBRITY APPRENTICE this past weekend. The women's team won, lead by JOAN  RIVERS, and the charity to benefit was New York's  GODS LOVE WE DELIVER.

JOAN RIVERS is a force of nature — and one of the hardest working celebrities in the world. Joan is a noted comedienne, successful business entrepreneur, Tony-nominated actress, Emmy Award-winning TV talk show host, playwright, screenwriter, director, and red carpet fashion interviewer.

She has been a member of the Board of Directors of God's Love We Deliver for more than fifteen years, and has played an enormously important role in helping to guide the growth of the agency and the expansion of its mission during this time. - Since her team won this week, more than $100,000  was  donated to the charity.

Since 1985, God's Love We Deliver's mission is to improve the health and well-being of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition.

Join Us for Sunday Night Supper  MARCH  8th  EVENT

Please join our thousands of volunteers and donors on March 8, 2009 as we dine in participating restaurants to raise money for God's Love We Deliver. Lidia Bastianich, Sunday Night Supper Co-Chair, is excited that Felidia is one of the first restaurants to sign on. We are asking each participating restaurant to make a donation to God's Love We Deliver so that we can continue our life-sustaining work.
